The Lies and Deception of Jamie Andrews and the "Virology Control Project"
Disclaimer: AI was not used for any part in the writing of this article, the only AI usage is when addressing AI usage from those mentioned in this article and the above photo(lol). All the evidence was obtained legally and through public channels and profiles. Though due to deletions and suspensions not all evidence I showed is obtainable anymore.
Hello all,
My name is Burki and I originally come from Twitter (aka X). In the past 3 years I had the extreme misfortune of running into Jamie Andrews on there. Just to show the character of said individual, he blocked me after one reply. I digress though. For those that don’t know, Jamie denies viruses and that disease causing agents can’t spread to other living things. The reasons for it you’ll have to ask him. Though he is your typical virus denier who practices misinterpreting virology and many of its papers, enough to accidentally cite vaccination papers. He is also verbally hostile if you don’t suck him off, even fellow virus deniers, that dissent from anything he says and does, aren’t safe.
Around late 2023 and early 2024 Jamie Andrews behind the scenes started his “Virology Control Project”, continuing the work of Stefan Lanka, to debunk virology through their own method of cell culturing, PCR, Genomics, Proteomics and to show that is is all junk and that there was going to be no bias behind it, that the data was going to be “open source”, and that it was all going to be done by independent CROs. Ironically though, he has not been able to show any of it being junk despite what he claims, all while doing a lot of deception and lying himself. Lets begin with the biggest lie, the “CRO” lie.
The “CRO” Lie:
Meet Ryan. Ryan was Jamie’s “Unbiased Independent CRO” for his first release. He went by DiscernHeal on X and boasted constantly about working in a lab; dunking on his coworkers etc. Evidenced below is how I know, without a doubt, he was Jamie’s “CRO”.
Evidence 1 The beginning:
While I always had the sense that Ryan was involved in some way with Jamie, I was certain of it when Jamie first announced the project through Alec Zeck’s podcast in June 2024. During this, there was an accidental hiccup with the stream and showed most everyone in the call. Unfortunately for Jamie it showed Mr Ryan, who was being hidden from their main display for 99.9% of the video. Why was he being hidden? What was Jamie afraid of?
At the time we thought he was there coaching Jamie and the others on what to say, what to spin, how to spin it etc. Though in the back of my mind I knew he was more involved, to where I hypothesized he was the one who did the experiments himself as he had boasted about working in a lab over that past year
Evidence 2 Internal strife:
Mike Stone provided some nice internal evidence of who Jamie’s “CRO” was through an email he leaked while he was fighting with Jamie as I guess they had a 2nd falling out in a Telegram chat. Though in this email it clearly shows that the supposed “unbiased” “independent” “CRO” was in their email chains and is stated to have been doing the cell culture experiments. Jamie also validates this as he blames Stone for “doxxing” a scientist involved with his project. Why aren’t these emails officially disclosed for a supposedly “open source” project?
Here is Jamie denying knowing Ryan at all, which is a lie.
Another share from Mike Stone shows that Jamie Andrew did indeed know who Ryan was.
Evidence 3 Lab Equipment
In early 2025, Jamie released videos of his “CRO” in his lab. Jamie did this thinking it would provide him credibility and to deceive further his audience, but it provided the most damning evidence of his deception and lies. For me, it took me all of like 2 minutes to figure out who it was and that it was indeed Ryan (aka Discernheal)

How did I get all of these photos you ask? Well Jamie’s video (left picture) and Ryan’s own twitter (right Picture).

Jamie’s Video:
Note: Lighting, quality, and time of capture of course show that these equipment are not 100%, but it still shows beyond a reasonable doubt that Ryan was indeed the CRO, just that the photos from Ryan’s Twitter and Jamie’s videos were taken at different times.
Not Releasing Data:
While initially promising the world to his audience, Jamie has not released data and results from the more molecular biology side of his project (Genomics, Antibody, and some sort of PCR debunk). He has publicly admitted he is withholding for “when the time is right” on Twitter. The only molecular biology segment of his project he has posted was the PCR and it totally falsified his initial hypothesis that he was going to be able to show that his culture had a viral genome via PCR.
Jamie has also stated the genomic results have been sent to a “geneticist” to see if there’s any glaring issues. He supposedly sent the cultures to get sequenced a year ago with like a 6-8 week time for results. He should easily have results in 2025 and if they were damning, he would have no issue posting it. Its been a year + a couple months and all we have gotten is excuses and gatekeeping. There are 3 reasons he is withholding: He doesn’t have the results because he never actually sent them in, the results show that he was wrong, or he is trying to find a way to spin the results. If he had gotten a viral genome he would’ve, without hesitation, posted the results.
It appears that Jamie will continue to only provide curated content for his audience that are apparently following a supposedly “open source” project. Like hogs and a trough. Why does he care about their careers? He thinks all their work is pseudoscientific fraud anyway. Is he actually afraid about people being able to check with the CRO directly? Why would he be afraid of that? Is it because he wants to provide his interpretation only and cherrypick places where the CRO says stuff that agrees with him? The answers to all these should be embarrassingly obvious.
The Misrepresentation of Virology:
Recently Jamie released a 2nd set of experiments done recently. To Jamie’s credit, it appears he actually got an unbiased blinded CRO…… but this, like with his PCR CRO and probably the CROs that he used for genomic sequencing, does not debunk virology in the slightest. Jamie has to strawman and misinterpret what virology says to make it seem he has debunked viral culturing. Here’s how:
CPE Morphologies: In the analysis and interpretation section of his latest release he outlines…. sorry AI.. outlines common CPE seen in virology. Because his readers don’t know better, he indirectly frames CPE as only being caused by viruses and that virology claims this. This is utterly ridiculous to anyone who has learned about cells along with basic biology, which anyone with a basic education should understand, and read the AI output he provided. He will make this very clear in his conclusion where he misinterprets the CLSI reference manual M41.
From the AI output, the AI spits out: Round and Aggregation, Syncytia, Vacuolation, Ballooning and Swelling, plaque formation, Cytoplasmic Inclusions, Necrosis and Degeneration, and apoptosis. Now these are all specific types of CPE, but most of these are not just caused by viruses. The ones that are very commonly caused by viruses are: Rounding, Syncytia, Plaque Formation, and Cytoplasmic Inclusions.
Here is ChatGPT confirming
So one might say that this could be the damning evidence against virology, well it ain’t because as described by ChatGPT, there are possible causes other than a virus. Jamie wants you to think that his is not case for all forms of CPE. The exception being plaque formations and Jamie does claim he was able to produce plaque formations, lets take a look shall we?
Plaque Formations: I had ChatGPT see if Jamie’s plaque formation was indeed plaque formations and……. look at that, ChatGPT noted it was not. Jamie cites his CRO description of dead cells/debris, but his CRO does not mention plaque formation directly. Another fail.
Jamie’s Virology Comparison, it noted that it was an example of plaque formation
For both pictures I hid the context from ChatGPT of the images insinuating that these were examples of plaque formations and were both done in new chat windows.
For more context on what virology says, one should easily be able to see the plaque formations with the naked eye as seen in the above photo, as Jamie did not provide such an example, this is telling us that he did not get plaque formations, but just pointed to something and hoped for the best.
Addition after publishing: After the publishing of this article, I was suggested to reach out to a subject matter expert for comment on Jamie’s purported reporting of plaque formations and to see if they would also label these as plaque formations. So I reached to Dr. Angela Rasmussen, Virologist, on Twitter. Without revealing who and where the photo came from, I asked her if this was labeled correctly, she effectively said these were not plaque formations due to the confluency being too low to even be able to see plaque formations. Imaged below is the Twitter DM I started with her. I did inform her after her reply on the background of where the image came from and shared Jamie’s article to her. She went on to state that these were just 2 Vero cells that looked healthy and fine just that they were under-confluent.
Apoptosis: The one of more laughable gotcha attempts by Jamie was him noting that he saw apoptosis. Now apoptosis is programmed cell death, it is a normal way cells die, you literally learn this in grade school biology, it should be of no surprise to any that one might see some in cell cultures of any type.
Misinterpretation and Misconstruing:
In Jamie’s conclusion he cites Virological Isolation in Cell Cultures as defined by the Clinical & Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI), M41. In it he cites:
and says that “it states that any CPE morphologies seen in culture prior to 5 days incubation is enough to indicate viral presence”. For those out there that actually read the standards it does not say anywhere what Jamie is stating it does. This is just his interpretation of what he thinks it is saying. It is talking about the rate of CPE.
He goes on further to cite AI, thinking its agreeing with CLSI, and even gets what the AI says wrong and even contradicts him as the AI literally says one morphology is needed to SUGGEST viral presence, but that supplementary tests are used for confirmation.
It is clear that Jamie’s whole argument now hinges on thinking that CPE can only be done by a virus and that he is here to show that is not the case despite what virology says and such the methodology is faulty to the point that it is invalid . The issue though is he failed to show that virology actually says this, but tries to warp what virology says to make it appear that it does. CPE is just one possible indicator and often in virology, as seen with the plaque formation stock example, the CPE is often massive, in Jamie’s cultures it is not massive.
Conclusion
Its obvious Jamie is doing all of this for clout. Through this article, I believe I have conclusively shown Jamie has lied and have shown his blatant deception beyond all reasonable doubt. It is up to you, the reader, to accept it or not. If you have any issues or want to see any evidence I have for anything said in this article that I have not already sourced, you are free to do so in the comments as unlike Jamie and Co, I am not afraid of being challenged.
Jamie, if you do read this and want it removed, come clean, tell everyone you lied, release all your data, all information on your CROs and actually be a true “open source” project and I will delete this. You won’t though as your whole identity is based on you being a pathological liar. Also Jamie, its laughable that you are threatening your own virus deniers with reporting them to the “authorities” via a “criminal report”. Like bro, you don’t trust government to begin with. Thinking they’ll do anything for a project where you’ve actively been shown to be deceptive is beyond comical.
You all free to comment, swear at me, gaslight me etc as unlike Jamie and many other Virus Deniers, I am not afraid of dissent.
Edit 10/29/2025: Added chat mesages from Dr. Angela Rasmussen, Virologist, on Jamie Andrew’s purported picture of Plaque Formations.

I’ve been seeing more and more germ theory deniers, some of whom even have degrees. Absolutely bizarre…
Great article!
